The Villa of Mandri with its farm and its Borgo is located in the Regello County in the vicinity of Florence and greeting you we provide with some information about the property.

The present facade of the Villa is from the mid XVIII century a as you can see from a inscription in the draft of the facade (1666). From the past history we know that The Villa was already property of the Carnesecchi family from the XV century, afterward it was bought by the Medici family, cadet cousins of the Grand Dukes reigning at that time, and belonged to them until the present days.

In the second half of the XVIII century, during the agrarian reform by the Grand Duke Leopold II, the Borgo was added to the Villa; it shows the typical structure of the Leopoldine houses where now, after a long and careful restoration, are located the apartments we rent to our guests. Two small houses in the spacious green space limiting the Borgo have been restored as well and transformed in wonderful cottages.

Given the historical importance, the architecture of the Villa and the enclosed Borgo the Committee of the Historical and Artistic sites declared the property a National Monument.
